A Bit About Me
A first career as a mechanical design engineer formed the basis of my interest in information and information access. That interest was reinforced while pursuing an MSI at the School of Information where experiences both inside and outside of the classroom provided knowledge and training in traditional aspects and theory of archives and records management blended with a technical background in networked systems, web authoring and database design.
As Digital Access and Preservation Archivist at the Benson Ford Research Center I am able to apply the toolset gained through my graduate education and my engineering background in the pursuit of increased access to our archival collections and improved management of our digital assets.
